Celeste gets her ears pierced!

Celeste has been bugging Chris and I to get her ears pierced.

We finally decided that she could on her 8th birthday.

Well, her birthday came and went... and no mention of the ears...

until today.

Celeste asks "can I get my ears pierced? You said I could for my birthday."

I say, "sure. Let's go now!"

All of a sudden, she starts looking not so sure anymore...

Here Celeste is, after her ears have been marked...

just waiting...

Meanwhile, Steven is taunting her with "your ears are going to bleed!"

"Its gonna hurt worst than a flu shot!"

Typical younger brother stuff.

Good grief, Celeste, they haven't even done it yet!!!

Celeste makes dinner

Celeste got a cook book and supplies from Nana and Dziadzi for Christmas.

Something she has been asking for, for quite awhile.

After studying each recipe, she decided to make pan-fried chicken and green beans for dinner.
