"Green Alien"
If you know my children... then you know that one of their favorite movies is M. Night Shyamalan's SIGNS. In this video, we had been on a walk/bike ride on the trails by the house. The trail runs right along side a corn field. Chris and I were trying to scare the kids a bit by talking about the alien from SIGNS being in the corn field... Instead of cowering, Logan runs up to the edge of the field calling for the green alien to come on! Too funny!
Blackberry Farm, Aurora, IL
On Labor Day weekend, we took the kids to Blackberry Farm right here in Aurora, IL.
{Blackberry Farm is a living history museum on 54 acres. It has 5 museums which contain a collection of late 19th century artifacts used in every facet of life. Period craft demonstrations bring the farm to life. Visitors can watch demonstrations of blacksmithing, spinning, weaving, sewing, pottery... as well as visit a one room schoolhouse, an 1840s Aurora home and farm cabin.}
Logan has a turn riding a pony.
The trio waits for their turn on the carosel.
Chris and the kids on the train.
Steven and Celeste on the train.
Logan was totally stoked! He thought he was on the "dino train"!
No farm would be complete without at least a few animals!
Logan checks out the goats and lambs.
Looks like Steven's "mammy"
This little guy steps up for a little lovin' from the crowd.

Not to be outdone by her younger brothers...
Was a great fishing day. Every kid caught one. Logan' s was by far the largest though. Still, they all had fun!
